Kayla is truly the best, which is why I called her my wedding fairy godmother! She was our full wedding planner for our Michigan wedding at my family home, and without being super familiar with the local vendors, she stepped up, worked seamlessly with all of our vendors and honestly took ALL of the stresses of wedding planning off of my plate.  From Kayla’s eye for the tiniest details, to her impressive ability to see the big picture and create layouts and timelines, she was instrumental in helping create our perfect day.

The day before the wedding we had to come up with a ceremony rain plan because the forecast called for rain. I wasn’t crazy about the initial solution my parent’s suggested, and without me saying anything, Kayla could tell I wasn’t into it. In true peacemaker fashion, Kayla was able to come up with a great solution that we were all totally comfortable with. Luckily we did not have to use the rain plan, however it was so nice to go into the day knowing either option would’ve given us the ceremony we wanted..rain or shine.

As with any wedding, little things come up on the day of, and you want someone who’s able problem solve on the fly. Ours happened when our florist didn’t bring an arch, which is what we planned on being our backdrop for the ceremony. When I walked down the aisle, there was a beautiful arch with our flowers and I had no idea it was an arch from a different florist, which had to be assembled onsite by Kayla and some friends. I only heard about this debacle when we returned from our honeymoon and my family told us. Again, Kayla to the rescue and I hadn’t a clue.

Kayla was wonderful to our entire bridal party, including the little ones, as well as the adults who behave like little ones. Everyone loved her sweet energy, and everyone also knew that she was the boss and what she says go. The perfect combination in a wedding planner. Kayla will be the best thing you do for your wedding, other than marrying the person of your dreams of course. :)
